A candidate standing in east London for George Galloway’s hard left party shared social media posts that mocked Holocaust Rememberance Day, claimed America is controlled by a “Jewish mafia” and implied that anyone who learnt about Jewish history would become a Nazi.

Another Workers Party parliamentary candidate in Finchley and Golders Green shared an article that claimed, “Passover is a sick and twisted holiday.”

Kamran Khan, who is standing in Poplar and Limehouse, wrote and reposted a series of incendiary messages on X/Twitter over several months earlier this year.

In Febuary, he said: “Wtf [what the f**k] is an ex-Zionist? A rapist is a rapist for life. The label doesn't have an expiry date that needs to be renewed by a new rape.”

The same day he shared a news article about Israelis suffering from PTSD in the wake of the October 7 terror attack, and wrote: "lol, with all the sh*t they steal you'd think they have a few spare shekels."

The same month he responded to a message by Labour MP Sarah Champion in which she said a humanitarian crisis had developed in Gaza by writing: "You are a contributor by pushing your fake 'Hamas rape' pro war atrocity propaganda. Scumbag."

The general election candidate also shared a series of bigoted memes and images from other social media users.

In one, a hand drawn Jewish man is seen saying, "I hate you with every fibre of my being," to a Christian boy, who replies," I know, I read the Talmud."

In another, an old man looking at a computer says: "Aww those poor Jews were so persecuted. Let me look up why."

Under the caption, “five hours later,” the same man in seen dressed in full Nazi regalia.

A further post shared by Khan features a picture of a news article titled, "Mexican president goes full antisemite: 'The US is controlled by a Jewish mafia'."

The story is captioned, "The truth is antisemitic, silly goys."

Another post shared by Khan claims that "Zionist Jewish Terrorists" are trained from childhood to no have compassion for gentiles, adding: "The Talmud says it's ok to harm and kill we NonJews."

Khan also shared posts that appear to mock Jews commemorating the Holocaust.

One declares: "Tomorrow is Holocaust Rememberance Day. Hope you're all ready for the galactic load of victimhood headed our way."

When antisemitism campaigner Steve Cooke posted screenshots of these posts, Khan responded by attacking Zionists.

"[I am] happy to clarify my position," he wrote. "zionists are rap**ts, zionist's are l**ra, zionist are trying to legalise peados, zionist kill kids and then play victim [sic]."

He later added: “Zios are already smearing me with made up nonsense.”

An abbreviation of Zionist, the term “Zio” was reportedly popularised by white supremacist David Duke.

The Workers Party candidate in Finchley and Golders Green, Mez Derak, shared an an article in 2019 titled, "Passover: God Kills a Bunch of Babies, Except The Jewish Ones."

The festival, it claimed, was, “the celebration of the mass murder of children by an immoral and incompetent God.”

It continued: “Passover is a sick and twisted holiday where the supposed slaughter of innocent Egyptian children is celebrated, because for some reason an all-powerful, all-knowing God could not free the Israelites from their fictional captivity in Egypt without killing every first born, non-Jewish child in Egypt.”

The Workers Party, founded by Galloway in 2019, is a hard left group that opposes capitalism and defends the “positive historical legacy” of the Soviet Union.

It has argued that working class and Muslim voters should abandon the Labour Party, with its national election coordinator claiming, “a vote for Labour is a vote for genocide.”

Galloway has previously been accused of antisemitism during his storied career in British politics.

In 2019, he sacked by TalkRadio after he said Liverpool’s victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final meant there would be “no Israel flags on the cup”.

The Workers Party has been contacted for comment.
