Rishi Sunak's top spin doctor has quit Downing Street after less than a year in the job.
Amber de Botton had a decade-long career as a broadcast journalist at outlets including Sky News and ITV before she was hired by the Prime Minister a few days after he took office last year.
The Jewish advisor served as Sunak's director of communications, helping the government to deal with the fall out from Liz Truss's short lived spell in power.
Writing on Twitter, she said: "It has been an honour and a privilege to serve as the Prime Minister's director of communications but I have decided it is the right time to move on.
