Police investigate pro-Palestinian protester over 'killing Jews' remark

articlemain

Police are investigating a complaint made against a pro-Palestinian activist over comments in which she appeared to support the killing of Jews.

The woman was filmed making the remarks outside Downing Street, during an anti-Israel demonstration against a visit to London by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

At the protest, which took place on September 9, the woman appeared to tell Israel supporters that she wanted all Jews “out of Israel”. One man replied: “You’ll have to kill them all”. She responded: “Well, so be it.”

A hate crime complaint in relation to the incident was filed to police yesterday by Israel advocacy group Jewish Human Rights Watch, which is based in Manchester.

A police spokesman confirmed: “Officers from Westminster are investigating. Enquiries are ongoing. There has been no arrest.”

The video of the exchange sparked outrage across the world after it was circulated on reports and social media.
