British Jewish businessman Lord Sugar has contacted the police after being trolled with antisemitic messages over the weekend.
The BBC Apprentice boss, a supporter of the Jewish Care charity, was called “you old Jewish c***” on Twitter.
Lord Sugar, 67, reported the incident to the police.
A spokesman for Westminster police said: “Police at the palace of Westminster have today received an allegation of malicious communication, relating to offensive messages on Twitter.
“The messages are alleged to be of a racist and antisemitic nature and directed at a male victim.
“Inquiries continue.”
