After a ten-year break, actor Peter Gerald is returning to the stage.
He has a starring role in Kitty & Damnation, a play by award-winning Joseph Crilly. A historical comedy-drama set in Belfast and London in 1829, it tells of the misadventures of Kitty Galloway.
Mr Gerald, 49, plays “a 19th century Piers Morgan”, as he puts it.
So, what has the Londoner been doing for the past decade? Property, of course.
He tells People: “Every actor needs a second string. Doing something in the ‘real world’ helped with research as an actor. All actors should try it rather than being cocooned in the theatre.”
Previous credits include playing Thenardier in Les Miserables.
