A hundred people from all around the world including Israel and the Palestinian territories walked 10km across the bridges of London on Sunday, raising £90,000 for international summer camp Seeds of Peace.
The Bridges to Peace walk, now in its second year, was joined by 160 more walking across bridges in 16 other countries.
The Seeds for Peace camp in Maine, USA, is now in its 20th year.
It brings together 14-16-year-olds, or "seeds" from Israel, Gaza, the West Bank, Egypt, India, Pakistan, Jordan and Afghanistan to participate in a normal US summer camp, but with an added hour and a half every day of “facilitated dialogue”.
Many graduates of the summer camp were present at Sunday’s walk, included Israelis and Palestinians currently at university in the UK.
