Times editor James Harding, giving a talk to the Jewish Community Centre this week, asked the audience what they would like the newspaper to cover. "The new JCC," someone immediately piped up. Well, it had already done that, said Mr Harding, a member of Belsize Square Synagogue, in a long opinion piece by the paper's executive editor Daniel Finklestein. "That was in the JC," the audience member corrected him.
"Oh yes, so it was," Mr Harding said. "It was in the JC. Well, that's a fantastic paper."
