Ofsted praises primary schools and nurseries

King David Primary School has been rated "outstanding" by Ofsted.

The school, which was upgraded from "good", was praised by Ofsted inspectors for its "strong leadership and exemplary teaching".

The report said: "As a result of strong spiritual, moral, social and cultural development, pupils develop as well-rounded, thoughtful citizens, who take an enormous pride in their responsibilities and the part they play within the school community."

Two Jewish nurseries were also judged as "outstanding" by Ofsted - Nagila Pre-School in Edgware and Alonim Kindergarten in Whetstone.

Pardes House Grammar School in Finchley and Beis Chinuch Lebonos Nursery were rated "good".
