A strictly Orthodox primary school has been failed by Ofsted inspectors for not teaching pupils about homosexuality or gender reassignment.

Vishnitz Girls School did not give pupils "a full understanding of fundamental British values," according to an Ofsted report.

The watchdog was called in to monitor the private school in Hackney, north London after two failed inspections in the past year.

The school takes girls from the age of three to eight.
