Police will take no further action against controversial speaker Abdel Bari Atwan, following allegations of antisemitism at a lecture where 30 Jewish students walked out in protest.
Officers investigated several complaints of antisemitic language following a lecture given by Mr Atwan, editor-in-chief of the London-based Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper, at the London School of Economics last December.
During the lecture, entitled How much influence does the Zionist lobby exert in the US and UK? Mr Atwan accused Jewish students of "bombing Gaza" and referred to a "Jewish lobby".
A police spokeswoman confirmed that the investigation has now concluded and no arrests have been made.
