A Labour councillor who shared an article that denied the Holocaust and claimed Hitler was justified in persecuting Jews has been re-elected.
Belgica Guaña posted an article to Facebook in September 2016 entitled “The Holocaust Hoax and the Jewish Promotion of Peversity,” which claimed: “The so-called ‘Holocaust’ is propaganda in an ongoing war between the Jews and those with the courage to stand up to them.”
She was re-elected to represent Newham’s Canning Town South in this week’s local council polls, receiving 536 votes.
After the JC revealed the article shared by Ms Guaña on Wednesday, the Labour Party said she no longer had its endorsement.
It is understood that Ms Guaña has now been administratively suspended from Labour, pending an investigation, and will therefore not be able to hold the party’s whip while in office.
However, as her nomination forms had been submitted before her suspension, Ms Guaña appeared on the ballot as a Labour candidate.
Labour Against Antisemitism spokesperson Euan Phillips said: “Through [Labour’s] inaction, another anti-Jewish racist will serve a term in public office. Their complacency is inexcusable.”
The article shared by Ms Guaña said: “The Jews do not have the means or the numbers to defeat Europeans with the force of arms so they have to rely mainly on infiltration, subversion, and economic and psychological warfare, with the Holocaust hoax being the best example of the latter….
“The Germans were completely justified in persecuting and expelling the Jews (which is all that was actually happening), just as we would be today. Hitler and the National Socialists freed Germany from the death grip of the Jews and gave it back to the German people.”
It claimed Jews use pornography to subvert Western civilisation, described Anne Frank as a “bisexual degenerate”, describing her diary as an “obvious fraud… laced with pornographic and sexually subversive passages”.
It went on: “The Jews have used their Holocaust hoax as a sinister tool to successfully promote perversity in movies, literature and Academia.”
“What’s next,” it asked: “Mandatory Holohoax pornography for Kindergarteners? And you’re an evil Nazi if you object to it?”
The article concluded: “In fact, as hard of a pill as it is to swallow, the Jews are using their made up story of genocide as the primary tool to pull off a very real, much worse genocide, with the entire White race as their victims!
“Our current situation under the jackboot of these demons is more extreme and alarming than any Holocaust fairy tale that they could ever come up with. That much is certain.”
A Labour Party spokesperson said: "The Labour Party takes all complaints seriously. They are fully investigated in line with our rules and procedures and any appropriate action is taken."
