The police attended the scene with riot control equipment and a JCB

The Metropolitan police have stormed a house reportedly belonging to Jewish-Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska after anti-Russian demonstrators began squatting in the house this morning.

The house, in London's Belgravia was occupied this morning by protestors with posters emblazoned with anti-Russian slogans including "F**K Putin" in Russian.

Officers from the Metropolitan police's Territorial Support Group were seen attending the house with riot control equipment and heavy machinery to force entry into the property.

Deripaska, one of the oligarchs sanctioned by the UK government last week, is the reported owner of the estimated £50,000,000 mansion in the exclusive area of London.

Oligarch Deripaska, whose parents were Jewish, made his fortune in metals and is the former owner of United Company Rusal, the second-largest aluminium company in the world.
