A manhunt is underway in Bushey, after three women were killed in a house in Ashlyn Close.
Emergency services were called to the home in Hertfordshire at 7pm last night, where the women – believed to be related – were found with serious injuries. Despite best efforts, all were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are currently searching for Kyle Clifford, 26, who is wanted in connection with the deaths. Originally from Enfield, he is believed to be in the Hertfordshire or North London areas.
Police officers warned the public not to approach Clifford as he may still be in possession of a crossbow, and to call 999 immediately if they see him.
Detective Superintendent Rob Hall said: "Whilst we are still in the early stages of this investigation, we are actively seeking Kyle Clifford who we believe could be in the areas of Hertfordshire or north London. Given the serious nature of the incident, I would ask anyone who knows where he is to contact police immediately”.
He also encouraged anyone who was in the area at 7pm last night to come forward with any information.
North Bushey councillors have extended their “thoughts and condolences” to the families affected. They told PA: “We are deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic news that three women have lost their lives in a violent incident which took place in the heart of our local community,” and encouraged anyone with relevant information to contact the police.
