A man has been charged with historic child sexual offences against three victims after an investigation covering three countries.

Jair Klein, 54, of Majestic Court, Margate, was charged on Monday with nine offences that relate to at least one boy under 13 and “a male 13 or over”.

 He is due to appear at Willesden Green Magistrates on September 2.

 According to the Metropolitan Police, the offences were alleged to have taken place across the UK, France and the USA between 2010 and 2014.

 The investigation was carried out by the Met’s Specialist Crime Team in partnership with the FBI.

 It was launched after “detectives were alerted to potential non-recent sexual offences dated back to 2010 in the Finchley area of Barnet,” police said.
