Ms Gottardo, 20, has made it to the second final of the BBC Two reality show SuperAgents.

Dubbed The Apprentice for sports agents, the programme has been following six contestants vying for the chance to work with top agent Mel Goldberg, who runs Power Goldberg Sports Management.

Footballers David James, Jamie Carragher and Shaun Wright-Phillips, and F1 champion Lewis Hamilton also make appearances in the series.

Ms Gottardo, a sports science graduate from the University of Central Lancashire, tells People: “My Facebook page has been inundated with messages from people and the phone has been ringing of the hook. It’s my dream job to be a sports agent.”

Ms Gottardo particularly enjoyed the PR and marketing task and working with some of the sporting world’s big names.
