Emeritus Chief Rabbi Lord Sacks has won a top American Jewish book prize for the third year running.
His exploration of the origins of religious violence Not In God’s Name, which was published last year, won a National Jewish Book Award in the category of modern Jewish thought prize.
It is the third year in succession that Lord Sacks has claimed the award in the same category and the fifth time in all that he has won an award from America’s Jewish Book Council, which announced the prize winners for 2015 this week.
