A Jewish woman from north - west London has been seriously injured in Bangkok and is in need of emergency donors for her rare blood type.

Lara Rose remains in critical condition after being admitted to Samitivej Hospital and has reportedly exhausted the entire supply of B and O donor blood available.

Her surgeon is appealing for more blood as Mrs Rose needs an amount equal to 10 donors.

Rare blood types are apparently even less common among Thais.

Potential donors are being ask to attend the Thai Red Cross Blood Donation Centre at Chulalongkorn Hospital in Bangkok.
