Fitness instructor Lee Janogly believes she can help you lose weight with her new hard-hitting book.
The pocket-size 50 Ways to Lose Your Blubber contains 50 simple suggestions for people struggling to shed the pounds. Mrs Janogly, 70, tells People: “This is a book to fit in your handbag. The idea is that people have it with them when they need suggestions on what not to eat. There are healthy options around but people find it difficult. If you want to stay slim, you can’t eat everything you want. This contains 50 ‘light-bulb moments’ to help.”
What does she advise? “You don’t take orders from a biscuit. Decide what is more important; being slim or eating food that is making you fat. You should never eat standing up and don’t pick — you can go on forever.”
A grandmother-of-seven, Mrs Janogly has been a fitness instructor for more than 30 years, teaching classes from her north London home. An experienced diet counsellor, she also runs a six-week Living Slim course and writes for a number of health and fitness magazines. She is the author of Only Fat People Skip Breakfast and Stop Bingeing: Stay in Control of Your Eating.
