Amy Winehouse is not the only beehive in town, it seems.
For the past two-and-a-half years, 37-year-old Laura Butler - who performs using the name Laura Miles - has been working as an Amy Winehouse tribute, and has been hailed as the best Amy Winehouse act in the UK by The Stage newspaper.
Ms Butler has recently appeared on BBC Three's reality television show Celebrity Scissorhands to raise money for the BBC's Children in Need appeal, which airs next Friday, and is currently touring the UK with her fundraising act.
She tells People: "I had been performing as a Cher tribute for the previous six years and then a couple of years ago, when she released Rehab, people said I looked like her - though I'm a bit bigger, a size 12 and 5ft 8. I got into her music and made that my new show."
Ms Butler performs around two shows a month, both in the UK and abroad, most recently in Switzerland, Jersey and Belgium. "I am hoping that Amy will have a comeback and that I can carry on doing this for a few more years."
She grew up in Croydon, South London, where she was a member of the Jewish Lads' & Girls' Brigade and South London Jewish Youth Club. Home is now in Sheffield.
