According to Forbes magazine, he is the world’s highest paid comedian, with an income of $69 million in the year up to June 2017.
The American-Jewish performer has a record-busting contract with Netflix to thank for his place at the top of the earnings chart.
The channel paid him with $40 million for two TV specials.
Seinfeld is best known for his eponymous 1990s sitcom which was famously “a show about nothing”.
Second on the Forbes list is Chris Rock, who earned $57 million
