Ken Livingstone has refused to answer questions on Labour Party antisemitism, saying they are a “diversion” from Jeremy Corbyn’s local election campaign.
Interviewed by Nick Ferrari on LBC radio this morning, the former London Mayor revealed he had joined Labour activists on the doorstep ahead of next month’s council elections.
Last month, the JC reported that Mr Livingstone’s suspension, which was due to expire today, had been extended while a further inquiry into his conduct was under consideration.
His suspension over comments about Hitler and Zionism had originally been due to expire on April 27, two years after it was imposed.
