A 22-year-old man faces a possible jail term after admitting repeatedly burgling a Jewish primary school.

Schneur Simmons appeared at Wood Green Crown Court on Monday, charged with four counts of burglary at the Torah Vodaas Primary School at Golders Green Synagogue, Dunstan Road, between January 2011 and August this year.

Simmons, of Finchley Road, Golders Green, will be sentenced next month. He was told he could face up to five years in prison.

The court also heard the case of 20-year-old Daniel Swain, of Mowbray Road, Edgware, who faces three charges of racially aggravated intentional harassment of a married Jewish couple and another Jewish man.

The charges relate to two separate incidents in February and June this year.

Swain denies the charges and will face trial in January.
