A volunteer security group has appealed for witnesses' after Jewish prayer items were stolen from a car in Stamford Hill, north London.
Shomrim tweeted footage of the theft which shows a woman opening a car door to take the items.
The items included tefillin, which is a set of small black leather boxes containing scrolls of parchment inscribed with verses from the Torah used for prayer.
Other items stolen included a tallit, the fringed garment traditionally worn by people while they pray.
Shomrim wrote: "Tallis & Teffilin (phylacteries) stolen from a vehicle on Manor aroad #N16 If you recognise this Female get in touch, the stolen religious items are extremely valuable to the owner.

The security group later tweeted footage of the thief returning with someone else to steal the car.
They also shared another video of them getting into the car and driving off.
