Jeremy Corbyn was filmed laughing and joking with the activist who reduced one of his Labour MPs to tears, it has been revealed.

Marc Wadsworth accused Ruth Smeeth of collaborating with the Daily Telegraph at yesterday’s event to launch the party’s report into antisemitism.

Ms Smeeth, Labour MP for Stoke on Trent North, walked out of the central London meeting and later called on Mr Corbyn to resign because, she said, he “stood by and did absolutely nothing”.

Mr Wadsworth describes himself as a “citizen journalist, editor, author, contemporary historian and events manager”.
