Jeremy Corbyn addressed LaRouche front organisation

He spoke on “the dangers embodied in NATO’s eastward expansion, the hideous aftermath of the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars, and the impact of Britain’s al-Yamamah arms deal with Saudi Arabia for the money flows in the Middle East, including those connected with terrorism”.

The LaRouche organisation, based in Germany and the United States, hit the headlines after a Jewish student, Jeremiah Duggan, died in mysterious circumstances in 2003 after attending a LaRouche conference in Wiesbaden.

A coroner ruled earlier this year that Mr Duggan died as a result of injuries he received in a collision with two cars, but that he may have been at risk from LaRouche members after he revealed he was Jewish.

His mother, Erica Duggan, who mounted a 12-year campaign to establish how her son died, said that
she was “deeply shocked” that Mr Corbyn agreed to address a group which she described as a smokescreen for the “highly dangerous” LaRouche “cult”.
