The couple, who claim to be shomrei Shabbat, have discovered a way to indulge their sporting passion without infringing on their religious lifestyle. Or so they argue.
They were recently spotted on the golf course at Bedminster country club in NewJersey, which is owned by Ivanka’s family.
According to a club employee, the couple avoided breaking Shabbat by not paying the caddy that carried their bags. The source told the New York Post that the couple, who usually give generous tips of up to $200, promised to pay up the following day.
