An Israeli actress has ambitious plans to boost Britain's film industry with a new London-based production company and a £7 million investment.
Roni Nadler, who has appeared in Israeli stage productions of Around The World In Eighty Days and The Three Musketeers, plans to combine Israeli creativity with British expertise.
Nadler, 32, said: "The Israeli film industry is renowned for its development of unconventional and distinctive content.
"By establishing a dedicated presence in London, we are well-positioned to spearhead exciting collaborations with the British film industry."
Her new company will open this week in Soho, and aims to recruit scriptwriters, casting agents and other industry professionals.
Representatives for the Israeli television host claimed the studio aspired to invest £120 million in productions over the next decade.
By combining the "vibrant storytelling styles of two nations," a statement on her website added, the company aims to create, "a cinematic experience that showcases the very best of Israeli and British talent".
Nadler previously presented breakfast content on Israel's Channel 13, interviewed contestants on X Factor Israel, and sung on several film soundtracks.
