Two Israeli border police officers have been stabbed in Jerusalem's Old City, according to Magen David Adom.

The two officers, both in their 20s are believed to have suffered non-critical injuries in the attack near Lion's Gate, close to the Temple Mount.

One officer, 20, is in a 'moderate condition' according to Magen David Adom. Both officers have been taken to hospital for further assessment.

It's the second attack in as many days in Jerusalem after an incident on Sunday where a terrorist attacked an Israeli police officer in Bab al-Huta in the Old City before being shot dead by armed response officers.
