A 13-year-old Israeli girl was killed this morning in a suspected terror attack in the West Bank.
Hallel Yaffe Ariel was stabbed while she was asleep after a Palestinian man jumped the settlement fence and entered her home, according to initial reports. She was critically injured and died of her wounds in hospital.
Another Israeli man, a member of a local civilian response team, was wounded in the attack after trying to enter the girl’s house.
The assailant, who has been identified as 19 year-old Mohammad Tra'ayra, was shot and killed at the scene.
