Yes Studios, the Israeli production company best known for hits such as Fauda and the Devil Next Door, released a short preview this week of the anticipated nine-episode season shot during lockdown.

The team finished filming earlier this month before Israel entered into a second lockdown, according to the entertainment magazine Variety, which reported the series is set to debut on Israel’s Yes TV later this year.

The understated Hebrew-language hit series about a Jerusalem-based Charedi family’s daily joys and griefs stars Unorthodox actor Shira Haas, Michael Aloni and Sasson Gabai (The Band’s Visit).

The first two seasons are available to stream on Netflix.
