Rockets fired into northern Israel, no injuries reported

Rockets have been fired into northern Israel as the country prepares for a possible retaliation to the alleged killing of terror chief Samir Kuntar .

The Israeli Defence Forces has confirmed that three rockets hit northern Israel on Sunday.

At least one rocket landed in an open area near Nahariya, according to reports.

“Forces are searching the area,” the IDF said in a statement. There are no reports of injuries or damage.

Arab media reported on Sunday morning that the Hezbollah-affiliated terrorist Samir Kuntar was killed in an Israeli Air Force attack near Damascus, along with eight other fighters on Saturday night.
