A possible attack in Jerusalem’s Old City was thwarted on Wednesday morning after police found improvised explosive devices hidden at a food stand.

Police arrested two suspects, both in their 40s, after discovering two pipe bombs and bullets during a raid on the food stand near Herod’s Gate.

The explosives were neutralised on the scene.
