Palestinian teenagers arrested in early morning raids

At least seven Palestinian teenagers have been detained by Israeli authorities after door-to-door raids were carried out on homes in East Jerusalem in the early hours of Sunday morning.

According the Ma’an news website, the teenagers have been identified as: Muhammad Jadallah, 16; Yasin Atrash and Muhsin Attun, both 17; and 18-year-olds Abdullah Abu Kaf, Muhammad Bkeirat, Mahir Attun and Ahmad Jadalah.

Another man, 21-year-old Nael Rabayaa, has also reportedly been taken into custody.

According to prisoner’s rights groups, close on 1,000 Palestinians – including 147 children – have been detained by Israeli authorities since the beginning of October after a spike in terror attacks.
