Passengers on the 77 bus route in Jerusalem are used to their cheerful Muslim driver, Ihab, who likes to make travellers feel comfortable.

But even the regulars were startled to see what Ihab had done to his bus for Passover.

With advice from a Jewish fellow bus driver, Ihab wrapped the entire inside of the Number 77 in silver foil, complete with a miniature Seder table in the centre aisle, balloons and flowers.

The driver told Ynet: “I wanted to make my passengers happy so that we’ll feel love for at least one day, in the hope that it’ll stay forever.”
