American Vice President Kamala Harris offered condolences to the parents of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, one of six hostages murdered by terrorist group Hamas whose bodies were retrieved from Gaza this weekend.

The Vice President posted on X/Twitter yesterday evening: “Doug and I just spoke to Jon and Rachel, Hersh Goldberg-Polin's parents, to express our condolences following the brutal murder of their son by Hamas terrorists. My heart breaks for their pain and anguish. I told them: As they mourn this terrible loss, they are not alone. Our nation mourns with them.”

Before speaking to the parents of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, an American-Israeli dual national, she unequivocally condemned Hamas’s atrocities, and said in a statement, “Hamas is an evil terrorist organisation. With these murders, Hamas has even more American blood on its hands. I strongly condemn Hamas’ continued brutality, and so must the entire world.”

Republican presidential candidate and former President Donald Trump appeared to blame President Joe Biden and Vice President Harris for Hamas’s terrorism.
