Air raid sirens blared across northern Israel on Wednesday night amid fears of a large-scale aerial infiltration by Hezbollah forces in Lebanon.
Alerts were set off in major cities including Haifa, Tiberias, Beit She'an, Kiryat Shmona, Metula, Nahariya and Safed as several news sources reported mass drone incursions into Israel.
There were also unconfirmed reports of Hezbollah terrorists on paragliders as well as gunfire between IDF soldiers and terrorists in towns and kibbutzim close to the Lebanon border.
There are currently no reported casualties.
Hamas also claimed that it was firing rockets on the northern coastal city of Haifa, much further north than their usual targets in central Israel.

Earlier today, an Israeli armed forces spokesperson said the IDF launched retaliatory strikes on Hezbollah command posts in Southern Lebanon earlier today after anti-tank missiles were fired at an Israeli position.
This is a developing story.
