Israeli wounded in stabbing in Jersusalem

An Israeli man has been stabbed by a Palestinian terrorist in an attack in Jerusalem.

The victim, a 29-year-old man, was moderately injured near the Jaffa Gate in the Old City. He has been taken to Shaare Zedek Medical Centre in Jerusalem and is reportedly fully conscious.

Police spokesman Superintendent Micky Rosenfeld said that following a search, authorities had arrested the attacker, a “Palestinian terrorist, aged 19”.

The Times of Israel has reported that he is a resident from Qabalan, a Palestinian town near Nablus in the West Bank.

The incident came at the end of a week of terror , with more than a dozen Israelis wounded and one killed in a spate of stabbings around the country on Tuesday alone.
