Britain’s embassy in Israel marked the coronation of HM King Charles III with two events over the weekend.
Saturday saw the embassy hold a joint public event held with Park Hatachana in Tel Aviv, which was thematically adorned with colours royal blue, red, and white.

The park was filled with famous British landmarks, art workshops for children, and a large screen showing a live broadcast of the Coronation ceremony from Westminster Abbey.

On Sunday, Britain’s Ambassador to Israel, Neil Wigan, held a more intimate event at the Ambassador's Residence in Ramat Gan.

The reception included guests from a “wide range of contacts including government officials, seniors from the business and trade industry, local NGOs, journalists, representatives of the LGBTQ community and more,” according to the embassy.

Sunday’s event was also attended by Israel’s Minister of Intelligence, Gila Gamliel, who spoke about the "deep and intertwined" history between Britain and Israel.
"Our cultural and bilateral ties have never been stronger. The royal family's roots to Israel form a major part of that connection, including a historic connection with the Holy Land," Gamliel said.
