Noa Argamani, a former hostage kidnapped by Hamas on October 7 and freed in a daring raid by Israeli forces, has been trolled online after footage of her partying was posted on social media.

Argamani, who held a party with her father, told an audience of family and friends that she had been “waiting for this moment for 246 days,” the amount of time she spent held by the terror group in Gaza.

In a video, Argamani acknowledged that hosting her party “wasn’t ideal, while there is still an ongoing war, while our soldiers are still on the battlefield, while there are still 109 hostages that are still there in Gaza including my partner Avinatan Or. We miss him terribly."

However, she said “Despite this, I am happy to celebrate life itself with you. We have to value every day in this life, we have to celebrate every moment that we’re here. Thank you to everyone who has come to celebrate today.”

Noa and her father Yaakov were seen celebrating and dancing, lifted on the shoulders of assembled friends.

Argamani was attacked by some Pro-Palestinian accounts on social media, who blamed her for civilian casualties incurred during the raid that saved her and three other Israeli hostages in June. She was also incorrectly referred to as a POW, despite being captured as a civilian by Hamas.

Argamani was kidnapped by Hamas from the Nova Festival on October 7. Video footage of her shouting “Don’t kill me” as she was taken away from her partner was widely circulated and was front page of the Mail on Sunday on October 8.

She was rescued on June 8 along with fellow hostages Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov, and Shlomi Ziv in a special IDF, Shin Bet and police operation in Nuseirat in the Gaza Strip. Arnon Zmora, a commander of the elite police Yamam unit was killed in the operation.

Liora Argamani, Noa’s mother, had a terminal brain illness and said her last wish was to see her daughter again, which she was able to. She subsequently died on 4 July before less than a month after Noa’s release.
