Fauda star Tsahi Halevi has been photographed participating in a real police raid in the Israeli city of Lod.
The actor, who previously served as a combat soldier in the Israel Defense Forces and is a regular volunteer officer with the Border Police, can seen in combat gear in a photo taken during the raid.
Security forces searched a residential compound in the city and uncovered weapons including a Kalashnikov rifle and three magazines as well as 7.62 mm ammunition, police said.
Officers also found cocaine and marijuana weighing a total of 60 grams. Police arrested four suspects, all of whom are Lod residents in their twenties and thirties. Officials said the force will continue the investigation as part of ongoing efforts to counter widespread crime in the Arab-Israeli sector.
Netflix drama Fauda follows the adventures of an Israeli undercover unit chasing terrorists in the West Bank and throughout the region. Halevi, 48, plays ays Naor, a member of the unit.
The actor is also known for his role in Israeli drama The Cops, in which he plays a detective entangled in a battle with a criminal gang who terrorising his native city.
