A rocket was fired from Lebanon at Tel Aviv causing a large blast across the city.
The Israel Defence Force said the loud explosion heard in Tel Aviv on Monday afternoon was caused by a rocket fired from Lebanon that landed in an open area.
Residents in Tel Aviv and the Ramat Hasharon area heard a loud explosion, according to the Times of Israel.
There were no warning sirens.
According to the IDF, no sirens were issued in accordance with an Israeli military policy that warnings are only issued if the impending rocket poses a direct threat. In this case, the rocket was headed towards an open area.
In addition, IDF said on Monday that some 45 rockets were fired from Lebanon towards the Golan Heights and landed in open areas.
There are no reported injuries.
Some of the projectiles were intercepted, and the Israel Fire and Rescue Services were operating on Monday to extinguish fires that were ignited by the attack.

The funeral of Alexei Popov was taking place when mourners were seen taking cover next to gravestones amid loud blasts.
Popov was killed during a Hezbollah rocket attack on Saturday in the northern Israeli city of Acre. Ten others were injured during the weekend attack.
