Nottingham councillor who is a vocal supporter of Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn made a number of inflammatory posts on social media

A Labour councillor suspended last May after calling for Jews in Israel to “relocate” to America has reportedly been readmitted to the party.

Ilyas Aziz, a Nottingham councillor and a vocal supporter of Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, was suspended by the party after the Guido Fawkes website published an exposé of some of his Facebook posts.

In July 2014 Mr Aziz wrote:

“Jews and Muslims lived together in the Middle East in peace pre 1948.
