Ilford North MP Lee Scott has been appointed as the parliamentary private secretary to the new Secretary of State for Justice Chris Grayling. Mr Scott will attend future meetings of the Justice ministerial team.
Mr Scott said: “Chris and I have worked together on a number of projects over the years and he is a great minister. I am delighted that I have been given this opportunity and want to make a real contribution in this key area of policy that has such an impact on the lives of so many people.”
Mr Scott has been Conservative MP for Ilford North since 2005. Before becoming MP he was a governor at Clore Tikva Primary School and served as the UJIA's campaigns director.
