Halpern charges dropped

Harasssment charges against two men brought during a police investigation into Golders Green rabbi, Chaim Halpern have been dropped.

Samuel Erlanger, 38, of Powis Gardens, Golders Green, had been due to be tried at Willesden Magistrates court on one count of harassment without violence on Tuesday, while Shlomo Feldman, 29, of Lynmouth Road, Stamford Hill, had been due to appear there on Friday on three similar counts.

The Crown Prosecution Service said that the complainants were withdrawing their support for the prosecution.
