A man who racially abused an elderly Jewish couple and a young Jewish man has had part of his punishment postponed so he can go on holiday.
Daniel Swain, 20, of Mowbray Road, Edgware, was found guilty of two charges of racially aggravated intentional harassment of Jewish victims.
Swain, who denied the charges, was given a community order by Judge Witold Pawlak, for an anger management course, supervision and a curfew. Swain, who appeared at Wood Green Crown court for sentencing, asked for an exception to the curfew so he could celebrate his 21st birthday in Spain on a holiday booked by his mother.
Judge Pawlak agreed to postpone the curfew until the beginning of May.
