If you go on to the internet, chances are you'll see a story about Israeli actress Gal Gadot. (You certianly will if you browse the Jews in the News section of this website). However, at the recent UK premiere of her new film Ralph Breaks the Internet she said she'd like to shut down the World Wide Web - just for a day.
When asked by ODE Entertainment what she would do if she were “queen of the internet for a day” the Wonder Woman star responded: “Shut it down for a day...Like – we all need a break.”
Gadot plays the voice of the character Shank, who she describes as a "mentor" to protagonist Vanellope von Schweetz, played by another Jewish actress, Sarah Silverman. "It's empowered women, empowering women" she said.
Comedian Silverman had a different plan for her internet-based powers however, saying she would "fill it just with a lot of animal videos and videos of unlikely animal friendships."
