Everyone needs a big break and aspiring film producer Gabrielle Lederman-Whyte, 22, has just landed hers –— after seven years of trying. She is working on new feature film Hard Shoulder.

Produced by her own company Whyte Booth Productions, the psychological thriller is due for release next year and will be showing in 177 cinemas across the UK, including Odeon and Vue theatres. Miss Lederman-Whyte, credited as being one of the youngest women to produce a full feature film, tells People: “I sent my CV off to 2,000 companies and got rejected by all of them. This is my first feature film and I’m loving it.”

Hard Shoulder stars Jamie Foreman (Layer Cake) and Will Johnson (Waking the Dead). Miss Lederman-Whyte is keen to help other aspiring movie directors.
