Firefighters rush to blaze at Jewish restaurant in Hendon

A fire broke out this afternoon at Nu Nosh

The fire brigade has been called to a blaze in Hendon, on Finchley Lane.

The location of the fire is believed to be a cafe called Nu Nosh which opened in 2020.

According to the cafe's website, they offer hummus and chickpeas, halloumi, and Israeli chopped salad. Their Instagram page recently celebrated Jewish New Year.

The restaurant is next to Middlesex University and Od Yosef Hai Synagogue.

Between five and six fire engines responded to the call, and at least two police vehicles.
