Acid attack victim Kirstie Trup has received three A*s at A-level.
The results, which were published today, make her one of JFS’s top achievers: she is one of only six pupils at the school to achieve such high grades .
While many of her peers will be celebrating, Ms Trup is due back in hospital today for a skin graft. She did not attend the school to pick up her results.
The 18-year-old, who was attacked along with her friend Katie Gee while working as volunteer teachers in Zanzibar, has a place to study history at Bristol in September.
She is expected to return home from hospital next week.
Fellow JFS pupil Katie Gee has also received the results she needs to go to Nottingham University to study sociology. She tweeted: "On the plus side, I'm off to Nottingham!"
