A Britain’s Got Talent audition featuring a mind-reading duo has been viewed more than 5 million times online.

Andrew Murray, a former JC employee, is one half of the double act DNA – the other is fellow Jewish magician and illusionist Darren Sarsby.

Mr Murray, a 43-year-old father of two from London, and Mr Sarsby, who is from Essex, sailed through to the next round of the show with four “yeses” from all the judges, after casting them and the audience under their spell.

DNA’s audition was shown on the first episode of BGT earlier this month, pulling in more than nine million TV viewers. But the footage of their television debut has since been viewed a staggering 5,176,658 times on YouTube, as of Friday morning.

BGT judge Amanda Holden was left speechless when the performing pair started off their act by correctly predicting a random contact in her phone.

Simon Cowell was not immune to DNA’s “super powers” either, after they appeared to read his mind when they asked him to write down a house number, a colour and a celebrity.

That was almost certainly have been enough to garner the judges’ support for a second chance, but DNA shocked viewers even more at the end of their act.

“Many of you may be wondering how we read minds,” Mr Murray said to cameras.

“But what you should be wondering is how we started this performance wearing camouflage T-shirts and ended up wearing black.”
